The tinnitus frequency test below will help you to accurately determine what the frequency of your tinnitus is. It is a graph of varying frequency tones with buttons you click to hear a particular frequency. That frequency will continue playing until you click on the button to turn it off again.
Frequency Range
- You must select two frequencies that most closely match the frequency of your tinnitus.
- It is advisable to use headphones for greater accuracy as many computer speakers produces low quality sound.
Once you have selected a frequency range, for example between 5000Hz and 6000Hz, you would then select the 5000Hz – 6000Hz option in the table below and press continue.
Next you will be presented with four frequencies which allow you to further “fine tune” your frequency selection.
Once you have made a final selection, for example 5,700Hz, simply hit continue.
